In many links of modern industrial production,temperature is an important indicator. To control the field temperature within limits will be the important guarantee of product quality and production safety. Therefore, it is very important to apply temperature control system at industrial control region, while the traditional analog circuit system can't bring about an ideal effect as a result of it's intricate circuit and too much device.Moreover, it can not established mathematic model and ascertain parameter exactly,therefore, this design adopt PID control.The PID controller has been to approximate 70-years history, it is the abbreviation of the proportion,the integral,the differential controller. It is the most common process controller in the commercial control. PID controller has simple algorithm, good effect.thus it is widely applied in commercial run control systems on the chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery, hot working, light industry and so on. At present, the PID algorithm is generally realized on the processors of serial program structure. However, the PID algorithm has parallelism, the serial structure processors have limited its speed, and ti is not so suitable to the the timely systems. The hardware electric circuit which realizes on FPGA through the hardware description language has the formidable concurrent operation ability, can solve this problem, thus realizes the PID control of high speed.This dissertation set up a perfect temperature control system, based on the application of traditional PID control technologies, for the specific characteristics of Industrial tmperature cntroller, come up with a program that designing with FPGA core and Hardware description language, then control PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) output with PID controller. The design not only solve the problem of Modeling complicated and bad control performance of traditional temperature control system, but also realize high efficiency and high accuracy control with the application of FPGA, besides, the application of FPGA increase the speed of data processing greatly, and use the modules with the same function repeatedly.
