The electric power takes the national main industry, is a complicated system, is composed of the electricity generation, transmission/distribution and the distribution network system. Distribution network system is directly connected to the end users, therefore the service of distribution directly influence on the condition of end user using electricity. In the daily management of distribution network, the network structure and the equipment and they locate the geographical environment close correlation, like equipment such as transformer substation, pole tower, user, transformer, with geographical coordinate closely relates in together, but power distribution equipment management, movement management, electric power dispatching, plan design and so on not only must understand electrical network topology and equipment situation, but also must grasp space position which it is at, therefore, must and its geographical coordinate the characteristic position relates the equipment the unification management. The traditional database management expresses its spatial with difficulty the complex relations, is unable to provide direct-viewing unifies, the visible information with the feature. The geography information system (GIS) has the very strong spatial data management, the spatial analysis sum accumulator according to the visible function, can very good the question which solves above in the power distribution management meets. It can the generalized analysis and the retrieval space localization data, and using the database technology the spatial data(equipment and so on transformer substation, pole tower)with the attribute data(for example equipment movement situation, tidal current distribution and so on) the one-to-one correspondence gets up, direct-viewing carries on the inquiry, the statistics, the output with the visible image, causes the user directly to complete each supervisory work in the geography background, enhances the power distribution supervisory work the maximized degree and the working efficiency.This article matched in the electrical network geography information system platform in the establishment realizes after matches the electrical network the installation management and so on the basic function, emphatically studied realizes the distribution geography information system platform of Daqing suburbs network. Moreover, the thesis analyzed in detail the data sampling, map drawing, database programming methods. Finally, the actual results are given. It is helpful to optimized power network management and distribution automation, and the research work is really important for practical engineering.
