| The life rhythm has come into a new level recently, which needs the demand-satisfying speed to be more rapid. The social demands are fulfilled by information and materials. With the fast transfer speed of information, the delivery speed of materials must be increased. As logistics center is the basic node of logistical system network, the operating efficiency of logistics center accounts for to a large degree the logical delivery. The main functions of logistics center are: receiving, checkup, inventory, replenishment, sorting, distribution processing, shipping, delivery etc. The material handling system is the basic link of these functions above, the quality of which affects directly the running effectiveness of logistics center. The conclusion that the reliability of the material handling system in a logistics center directly has an influence on the speed of logistics can be drawn. This paper studies the material handling system of logistics center from the aspect of reliability and implements the evaluation of the reliability.Material handling unit is put forward based on analysis of material handling system. The subsystems are studied from different elements such as staff system, equipment system, goods system and environment system. The methods to improve reliability are brought up on studying the main reasons for the errors in the subsystems; the definition of reliability of each subsystem and their calculating models are brought up using the knowledge of reliability engineering, the reliability of each subsystem is evaluated by the systematic evaluation method, the reliability model and its calculating are obtained using the in-series concept.The logical structure of material handling is analyzed from the reliability aspect, which permits to abstract the basic structure of typical system and get the calculating model of each structure; the reliability model of the whole carrying system structure are acquired in reference to the entire structure of material handling system and the network resolving method; the resolving method is put up in consideration with the reality of material handling system network.Finally, this paper ends up to develop the software of analysis and evaluation of material handling reliability based on the software technology and database, in the same time, practical application is implemented using a data information of one logistics center. |
