Studies On The TOD Mode In Urban Mass Rail Transit Station Areas

With Chinese rapid development of economic and society, and urban space expansion, many Chinese big cities are faced with widespread motorization and urbanization, mercerization, and many other problems; the traditional model of urban development no longer meets the sustainable urban development. How to make a reasonable layout of urban land use planning and guide the healthy and orderly development of urban is a major problem which is the planners are facing. First of all, the article makes an analysis on Chinese big cities several main layout patterns, and the urban layout development models of Chengdu, and has analyzed simultaneously the traffic characteristics and needs of structure of urban corridor, pointing out that the leading and rational choice of traffic mode should be based on mass rail transit in Chinese big cities. And the impact f urban rapid rail transit on urban space were studied ,from the urban form of the site surrounding land use, urban development of the axial and other aspects .Secondly, the article makes a detailed exposition and analysis on the connotation, the general pattern and the basic structure, the type and scale and the development of strength of the urban mass rail transit TOD mode, which is based on the theory and practice of basic research at home and abroad. And the application examples of the urban mass rail transit TOD mode abroad have been studied, and some related recommendations are put forward for domestic TOD mode development.Once again, the article puts forward some specific measures of the TOD mode development in Chinese urban mass rail transit station areas, and the mass rail transit station classification and grading, the community building, the property development of the station, the road network planning, the joining and coordination transportation system design, the evaluation of TOD.Finally, the article puts forward relevant proposals through the analysis of Chengdu city planning and transport planning to the TOD mode development at mass rail transit stations taking Chengdu as example.
