With the development and construction of the high-speed railway and passenger dedicated line, more and more turnouts are needed on the line. In addition, because of the high speed, the effects of turnout become more distinct than before. But at the present time, our design theory is no perfect. In order to adapt to the construction of PDL, we need to do some deep research on the calculation, design, and analysis of high speed turnout. Therefore, the paper based on No.39 turnout, through caculaion and analysis, get the line shape of turnout and swing nose rail, reach some conclusion, and also give some suggestion how to improve design theory.Firstly, the paper according to different structure of normal speed turnout, raised speed and high speed turnout, I have analyzed the content and theory of turnout design, and find some open problem.Secondly, to aim at No.39 turnout through contrast and analysis, use the lineshape of clothoid-circle-clothoid, through calculation and analysis I made the geometry of number 39 turnout, In the end, I have fixed the A dimension of clothoid, the length of every segments and the total length of turnout.Thirdly, based on the geometry of turnout that I calculated before, use the beam model which has been fixed at the end point, I have found the tip position. Through choose special sections and Caculate the moment of inertia, I have finisheh the design of double armed swing nose rail and find the welding point.Finally, I made a summary of this paper, find some insufficient points, and made a plan for the future work.
