Reasearch On Large Scale Wind Farm SCADA System Based On Wireless LAN

This paper mainly focuses on Wind Farm SCADA System Based On Wireless Local Network.Wind energy is a totally real pure energy,but on account of its randomicity, it do need a integrated monitoring system to supervise the real time parameters. However,the SCADA system used nowadays mostly use Local area network with optical fibres, due to damageable and high cost, it is hard to expand and give steady maintenance to the wind farm. This paper describes a method to use wireless LAN to replace ethernet to build up the monitoring system by analysing the network topology,data transfer speed,network relay,network safety and remote visit method.Put forward a wind farm monitoring SCADA system structure by using fieldbus and ethernet technique,make up a monitoring software which is used for wind farm to finish the software and hardware design.Complete the simulinking experiment at laboratory,and match the anticipating results.By this token,wireless network can be used in wind farm SCADA system.
