Firstly, this paper introduces the content of the SCADA system from the aspects of the development status, application, and the monitoring software. Based on this, this paper analyzes the structure and function of typical SCADA system, including the following:the typical control mode, the composition and characteristics of configuration monitoring system, the function of the monitoring system, the advantages and characteristics of control system.Secondly, based on natural gas pipe network system of Yinchuan Tianjia energy technology co., LTD, the SCADA system architecture adapted to the pipeline, the design of the station monitoring system, relational database, a whole communication system have been done in this paper in order to realize gas pipe network system control requirements. By constructing SCADA system, we can measure parameters, moderator variable, collect and manage alarm signal, record data, switch local or remote control.Finally, we design the Web publishing of the monitoring interface and data, study the remote viewing and control design. The mode of decentralized control and centralized monitoring can improve the degree of automation system, reduce the workload of operator, save human and physical resources, improve the production efficiency, and make the control procedure more secure.
