The AC Drive Technology Design And Research Of HXD3 Electric Locomotive

As the development of converter technology, computer control technology, the research and exploiture of AC speed regulation has aroused great attention all over the world. The AC drive system in terms of performance index, size devices, equipment maintain or even energy-saving, environmental protection are reflected in a huge advantage. The main drive system and auxiliary drive system of HXD3-electric locomotive both using the AC drive technology and computer network control technology ,the design of whole electrical system adhere to the principle of high starting point and leading technology, taking into account the actual needs of high-power freight electric locomotive, using advanced, mature and reliable technology, according to standardized, serialized, modular, information-based general requirements for the design of the all-round.First ,this article has done a brief explanation on the compose of power system of the HXD3 electric locomotive, the analysis of the vehicle's circuit part in accordance with the main circuit, the auxiliary circuit and control circuit, and make an explanation for the key electrical components; the emphasis of this article is combined with HXD3 electric locomotive, analyzed and researched the applied of the AC drive technology and computer network control technology in the locomotives; besides, it classified research and summarized the composing, function ,feature of the HXD3 electric locomotive on the main AC drive system, the AC auxiliary drive system and computer network control system; the end of the article concluded the phenomenon of the electromagnetic interference in the electric locomotive, and simple analyzed the shielding, grounding, and other measures for improving the electromagnetic compatibility of HXD3 electric locomotive.
