The Comparsion Of Collage Students' Dormitories Design

Strengthen the university's student dormitory construction has become an important task because of the practice of university developing measure as reform of higher education, merger of colleges and University, admission expanding, logistics socializing. However, the virtue of China's traditional students dormitory construction is low, theorial materials that the desiners can use for reference is very few. All above makes the research of university's dormitory urgent and important . This thesis is carried out on the basis of this background study.First of all , after refering to a variety of theoretical works on the concept of the university's students dormitory, this thesis expatiates on the concept ,character and the developing history of the university student's dormitory based on the present constitution. And , through the visiting and questionnaire survey to the students, this thesis points out the unreasonable phenomena about the use of university's students dormitory. Then, points out the major factors that affects the dormitory design,porposes the "people-oriented" design principles.Finally, on this basis, this thesis compares the university's students dormitory design refering the theory of building creative. Hoping to provides some advices for the university's students dormatory palnning, design, this thesis compares the designs firstly with the space portfolio at all levels and the functions of space - units dormitory space (room) - dormitory unit (flat) portfolio.
