Research On Design Strategy Of Building Public Space In University Student Dormitory In Guangzhou

The age group of college students is at the critical moment of thinking bursting,college dormitories are the places where college students stay on campus for the longest time,creating a good dormitory environment has a positive impact on the expansion of college students’ thinking and physical and mental health,but now the public space design of some college dormitories has not received due attention,and it is difficult for students to carry out diversified activities other than rest to release pressure and vitality.Therefore,it is in line with the needs of college students for the public space of the dormitory,stimulates the vitality of more students themselves and the public space of the dormitory,improves the quality of the daily life of the dormitory,and thus proposes a targeted dormitory public space design strategy,which is one of the problems that need to be solved as an architectural designer.This article is mainly divided into three parts,a total of six chapters.The first part,chapters 1 and 2,serve as a preliminary theoretical study of this article.First of all,it expounds the research background of this thesis,clarifies the research purpose and significance,defines the relevant concepts,and introduces the research methods and technical routes used in this thesis;secondly,the basic research on the public space of college student dormitories,analyzes the relevant theories,sorts out relevant literature research at home and abroad,and summarizes the focus of the current stage of research on the public space of college student dormitory buildings.The second part,Chapters 3 and 4,serves as a case study for this article.First of all,the field research part,through the investigation of some college student dormitories in Guangzhou and the questionnaire survey and interview with students on campus,to understand the current situation of the use of public space in the dormitory and the demand and satisfaction evaluation of college students for the use of public space in the dormitory,from which the shortcomings of the current design of public space in college student dormitories were found;secondly,by combing through excellent cases at home and abroad,summarizing their characteristics,and forming a strong contrast with the field research results,it pointed out the direction for the design strategy proposed later.The third part,Chapters 5 and 6 the,which is the core chapter of this thesis,based on the theory and case study of the previous article,from the three perspectives of the function and facilities,layout and environment of the dormitory public space,it proposes a targeted public space design strategy for the dormitory building of the university student dormitory,and discusses the specific solution measures in the design strategy,at last the optimization design scheme of practical cases is put forward,aiming to create a good dormitory living environment for the university student group.
