Design And Research On Public Space Of Student Dormitories In Nanjing Sanjiang University

With the continuous development of education in China,the scale of campus construction is gradually expanding.As an infrastructure in campus planning,the design and development of student dormitories need to adapt to the development of the times.In the new era,the traditional student dormitory has been unable to meet the needs,the expansion of the number of students,the diversification of functional needs and so on have put forward new challenges and requirements for the design of student dormitories,especially the public space of student dormitories.As an important factor to activate the whole dormitory,it occupies an indispensable position in the design.This thesis combines the relevant practice projects of students'dormitory of Nanjing Sanjiang University,and takes the public space of students'dormitory as the research object.It hopes to put forward the relevant strategies and methods of dormitory public space design through research,which will provide certain reference value for future campus planning and design.The thesis is divided into three parts,from the background research,basic design strategy and practice project three aspects of the student dormitory public space analysis and research.The first chapter is the first part of the article,which is the background of the whole article.It analyses the research background,related concepts and research objects,and the current research situation at home and abroad,so as to pre pare for the further study of student dormitories.The second and third chapters are the second part of the article,which is about the research of public space design strategy.They are mainly divided into two aspects:case study and strategy summary.Firstly,the case analysis part summarizes the relevant conclusions about the layout,design concept,public space system and units of student dormitories through combing and analyzing the basic situation and project characteristics of student dormitories at home and abroad;secondly,the strategy summary part,based on the previous research,advances the development,main types and current situation of dormitory public space.After the analysis,this paper puts forward the design strategy of the public space of student dormitor:ies,hoping to provide some reference value for the future dormitory space design.The fourth chapter is about the design of practical projects,which is the third part of the article.Based on the relevant conclusions of the previous study,combined with the actual project of students'dormitory in Nanjing Sanjiang University,the design method and strategy are applied to the actual project to verify the feasibility of the design strategy.Finally,this paper summarizes the article,draws conclusions on the study of dormitory public space,and analyzes the shortcomings of the article,which will be improved in future research.
