Study On Development Strategies Of Hilly City Space Form

In the course of rapid development, most hilly cities without good enough understanding in the aspect of continual development as well as their own characters, it usually result in many injuries of environment and phenomena of bad image. In order to provide helpful references of city construction, the thesis study the space form of hilly city, make it be realistic that a healthy city of all-sided developed, continual ecological, local characteristic can be build.The first chapter, except the depiction of background, intention, method etc, the thesis also review and prospect the urban space form research of domestic and overseas, confirm the meaning of interrelated conceptions, and introduce some correlative theories briefly.In the second and third chapter, depend on abundant investigation, study and research, the article analyzes the influencing factors and major characters of hilly cities. The fourth chapter contains the main progeny, it open out with four strategies: urban growth boundary, urban space structure, traffic organization and comprehensive urban design, with the purpose of providing useful directions in space form construction of hilly cities.The fifth chapter applies the study progeny in a practical city, intend to prove the feasibility of research, meanwhile, promote the space form construction of Huichang city. The research establish a relationship between urban planning theories and hilly cities, the object is to elicit some suitable development strategies, make hilly cities develop healthily.
