Because of its structural features,needle roller bearings are widely used in radial size restricted and higher carrying capacity of occasions,armored vehicles suspension system use needle roller bearings as rotating support.Needle roller bearings performance directly impact on the driving performance of the armored vehicles,therefore,contact stress analysis of needle roller bearings is necessary.According to the characteristics of its structure and loads,the FEA models for the needle roller bearings were established by ANSYS;In the model,the main component of the bearings were predigested properly.The boundary conditions approach to actual work conditions and parameters specially for contact analysis were discussed;Contact stress,strain and other relevant results were obtained after statics contact analysis.Contact stress has a major impact on contact fatigue and wear of bearings, determine the life of bearings to a large extent.Therefore,papers focused on the contact stress analysis and compared the results between the finite element and Hertz,the rationality of the finite element analysis were proved,the reasons for the error were analyzed.the structure of the sleeve was improved to eliminate the stress concentration.In the last part of the paper, carried out preliminary exploration for the simulation of the rigid-flexible coupling bearings system by Multi-system dynamics simulation software RecurDyn, this is looked forward to have some reference value to study an bearing process simulation which more in line with the actual situation by multi-body software.
