Development Of Welding CAPP System For The Box-Main-Girder Of Overhead Traveling Crane

The application of computer aided process planning ( CAPP ) technology to weld changed the way, the method and the efficiency of the welding process design. Develop the welding CAPP system for the box-main-girder of overhead traveling crane, which is not only improving the welding quality of products, but also reducing the production cycle and enhancing the production efficiency of welding.Based on the advanced manufacture theory of CAPP and the concrete analysis and research of the welding process, the programmer of the welding CAPP system for the box-main-girder is achieved. Also, the key technique of the process data management in CAPP system, the making way of welding process card, the constitute of the process design flow and the computer aided process technique are researched. In this paper,take Windows2000/XP as the operating system, and take Delphi7.0 as the system development tool. Select and use SQLServer 2000 as the access database, and ADO as the data access technology. Adopt the modular principle to achieve the whole framework design. We designed the welding process database, the welding process card customization module, and the welding report program generation module for box-main-girder of overhead traveling crane and friendly software interface.When this system is run,it achieves the man-machine interaction, the welding procedure management, the printing of the welding procedure sheet and so on. The research findings of this paper may quicken up the speed of the welding procedure design, and increase the efficiency,inquality and succession of the welding procedure design, which has established the foundation for the welding procedure design's standard and the optimization.
