Different from the conventional rail, dedicated passenger line has a high-speed, it is passenger dedicated, it is easy influence by the passenger travel time, its transportation needs of the time characteristics are uneven distribution. When the dedicated passenger line is complete, it will ease the pressure of the railway transport in China, release the capacity of conventional rail, increase cargo capacity, and save passengers' travel time, which has great significance for China to achieve a harmonious society and the great-leap-forward development of the railway.At present, the new dedicated passenger line is being built and being put into operation soon, it will form a railway transport corridors with the conventional rail. Whether the division in the internal corridors is reasonable has a greater impact for the rational utilization of capacity of the corridor, the speed improving of the passenger and freight train as well as the level of rail services and organizations.This paper includes:(1) based on the study of transport corridor, the paper analysis of the factors which impact the rail transport channel and the technical and economic characteristics of dedicated passenger line and the conventional rail, compares the difference in operations, in order to lay the foundation for the study behind.(2)The paper definits the transport division of labor, analysis the goal a reasonable division of labor to achieve , analysis the influencing factors on the division of labor,carries out the principles of reasonable division of labor and evaluation guide line.(3) the paper uses logit model calculation of the contribution rate of the railway corridor with the passenger choose all by themselves ,the paper determine the sharing rate of the dedicated passenger line and the conventional rail. The paper particularly analysis the speed of travel, transportation costs and adjustments in conventional rail after the dedicated passenger line take the most rail passenger flow , and finally take the Wuhan-Guangzhou route for examples.Aim to adjust the transport channel resources reasonably, enhance the transport capacity utilization level, develop the rail transport organization by leaps and bounds, this study provides practical operable suggestions for the dedicated passenger line after it is complete.
