At present , with highway construction entering the period of conservate and construct from new large-scale build in Gansu Province,Road Maintenance Department has been looking for an economical, rapid road-conservate approach to completely change the backward conservation method of excavation and fill. Micro-Surfacing technology as an important preventive conserve technologies. Be considered is one of the most effective and most economical means for repairing of a variety of road surface rutting and other road diseases at present. Particularly suitable for funds tense, long and scattered status of road maintenance in Gansu Province .In order to improve the durability of Micro-Surfacing, improve its construction performance and road performance, be better for preventive conservation, the paper in accordance with the climate and materials of Gansu area, adding fiber in the Micro-Surfacing Mixture, to study in the performance of Micro-Surfacing of improvement for adding fiber.The paper initially analysis the modified emulsion asphalt preparation process, compare the effects of different emulsifiers and different base asphalt modify emulsion on the performance of the modified emulsion asphalt; analysis the choice of Micro Fiber raw materials, its technical requirements, and design method of Micro hybrid their, study the performance of adding fiber to the Micro-Surfacing. Then through the mixing test, cohesion test, wet track abrasion test, loaded wheel test, the paper prove adding fiber to the mixture can increase cohesion, improve viscosity and the adhesion, flexibility, anti-wear, and can significantly increase the deformation resistance capacity of asphalt concrete, to delay fatigue life; through the comparison of two test, the paper prove the polyacrylonitrile fiber is better than polypropylene fiber on Micro-Surfacing performance improvement, and identified oilstone volume ratio and the best fiber add formula. Finally, introduce the Construction procedure and Construction Quality Control and analysis the economic benefits and social benefits of fiber Micro-Surfacing .This paper promote the popularization and application of the new technologies in the main highway conservation in Gansu Province, is important on saving money, accelerating the pace and improve the efficiency of road maintenance.
