As the world's largest country of motorcycle production and sales, Our country are faced with increasing pressure of environmental protection. the carburetor motorcycle emissions performance has been far from to meet the country III emission standards.,only the application of chnology,can we achieve the emission requirements. In view of this situation, the project and motorcycle research institutes in Xi'an designed for a motorcycle electronic fuel injectionte systems.This article take the DY125 motorcycle to carry out research and design of EFI systems.Article elaborated the plan, the structural design and the corresponding match question of electronic fuel injection system. and has carried on the essential re-equipping,to design the fuel supplies system and to the air supplies system. Then described the control strategy of ECU.After completes the system's development, it has carried on the system and obtained the MAP chart of the ignition advance angle.Finally, do a great deal of tests for the system, including test characteristics, dynamic performance test, emissions durability test, as well as other related tests. The results showed that the electronic fuel injection system's performance has been promoted comparing to the original carburetor engine performance, and the result can satisfy the national standards. Specially the engine emissions had completely achieved country III level, which is the engine of the carburetor can not be achieved. Therefore, the development of this system is successful and this system's application value is enormous.
