Nowadays , it is urgent to achieve distribution automation distribution management. Since it will bring great economic and social benefits, distribution network analysis and optimization has become a hot spot of the power system. But for quite a long time, the operation mode of distribution network analysis and research did not receive enough attention, resulting in inefficiency in distribution network operation, and high probability of accidents. No credible transfer plan for real-time failure processing either.In this paper, the existing distribution network will run an analysis and assessment, and by running the mode of analysis techniques to optimize the distribution network for optimal operation of the foundation to provide a good way, to a different state run distribution network to provide plans for the power grid management, operation and construction sector to provide detailed and strong decision support tools. Operation mode of distribution network would greatly facilitate the optimization of the economic operation of distribution network and security operations, with more theoretical research and practical value, with enormous economic and social benefits.This article clearly proposed the operating mode of distribution network optimization concept, research-based AHP operation mode to optimize distribution network comprehensive evaluation index, a comprehensive response distribution network equipment, technical, economic and other aspects of the properties, evaluation of distribution network advantages and disadvantages of operating mode and try this comprehensive evaluation index as the objective of genetic optimization algorithm used in distribution network reconfiguration, the realization of the normal operation of distribution network, equipment maintenance, Fault under different conditions of network reconfiguration.The use of genetic algorithm to optimize distribution network operating mode can be a better use of its intelligent computing features, but there are also slow with the convergence of computing and non-feasible solution and so on, this paper distribution network topology features and genetic algorithm to explore the characteristics of specific how to achieve the genetic algorithm network reconfiguration on the genetic manipulation of the selection, crossover and mutation distribution network based on topology improvement methods to improve the algorithm convergence speed and convergence.Distribution network will be operating mode optimization algorithm applied to two practical examples grid, analysis results, we can see based on AHP operation mode of distribution network comprehensive evaluation index can be an appropriate response to operation mode of distribution network equipment, economy, technology in all aspects, in will be applied to different operating status of its distribution network optimization operation mode, it can reflect the different operating conditions to optimize the requirements of operating mode.
