The Study Of The Speeding Water Supply

With the development of economic and living standard,tne flourishment of tourism,the expansion of constrution's scale in Xi'an since 1980s,the periphery regions are developing quickly,and the controdiction between demanding and supplying of water resource become more seriously.The preliminary design of this project is intended to reduce the contridiction by reasonable and holistic distribution,piping capacity promotion,structure adjustment,water system expansion and water quality improvement,and to upgrade the management.In order to satisfy the demand of urban development,the city' water distribution network has been rearranged based on the "Overall Plan:Xi'an 2005-2020" and "Xi'an Urban Water Supply Specific Plan",and thereunder,water demand has been recounted with new water indicators and new numbers of predicted subscribers.According to the modified design plan,the extension project objective shall be to satisfy the water demand of 2.03 million m~3/d in 2010 as predicted,and this demand to:rebuilt and extend urban piping network DN100～DN1600,about 585km;establish information management system of water supply; set up an new waterworks in Hongqing,about 50,000 m~3/d,an new water distribution factory in Fangzhicheng,about 60,000 m~3/d,a management station in northern suburb,and a comprehensive building(14800m~2) of operation management,distribution and water analysis; reform the 4th and 5th waterworks(87,000m~3/d and 99,000m3/d respectively);build new waterworks in Ziwu(290,000m~3/d in first phase);and to build a new water distribution factory in Jinghe river and Weihe river cluster in Xi'an Economic and Technology Development Zone. The total investment would be RMB 1208.2216 million Yuan,mainly covering:①new urban piping network,DN400～DN1600,about 206km;②counterpart information system;③new water distribution factory in Hongqing,about 50,000m~3/d;④new water distribution factory in Fangzhicheng,about 60,000m~3/d;⑤new piping network DN200～DN1000 in southwestern suburb,about 131km and counterpart information system.
