As green and renewable energy, solar energy is accepted commonly and being widely used because of its unusual advantages. But the output of photovoltaic(PV) array is influenced by the environmental factors, and PV array have relatively low conversion efficiency and is expensive. It is important research way that how to improve the efficency of the solar system. This paper focuses on MPPT control techniques of PV array, analyses the theory particularly, establishes simulation model with MATLAB software, presents control strategies relevantly, and validated by experimental results.Firstly, this paper analyses the composing of the PV system. Secondly, this paper analyses the electrical characteristics of PV cell and establishes simulation model, and also analyses commonly used MPPT methods, such as CVT method,Incremental conductance method,P&O method. And then study on the Photovoltaic Maximum Power Point Tracking Algrithm Based on output current, establishes simulation model with MATLAB software,simulating result shows that the system can implement the control seheme proposed in this paper perfeetly. It has been proved that the controls aligrithm presented in this paper can rapidly,aecurately and effieiently track the maximum powerpoint,restrain the diversions of the solar panel's working point,reduce the power fluctuations of control processing and get maximum power from the solar Panel. It shown that using the output current simplifies the maximum Power Point tracker controller for only one of the two output parameters needs to be sensed by this approach, Moreover,it is theoretically shown that the MPPT control that uses a single output control current applies to nearly all practical load types, regardless of the load nature.
