With the rapid development of the automobile industry, there is a demand for higher automatic assembly quality and advanced assembly techniques. In order to improve the stability and reliability of the products and make sure there are no defects among the products, there is a demand for stability and reliability during the whole process of assembling. In order to meet the demand, many influencing factors are considered in the design of the reducer press-mounting machine. In the design of the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, various schemes are compared. Finally, a suitable design scheme is confirmed.The reducer press-mounting machine discussed in this paper is an automatic assembly equipment which is appropriative in the pipelining of the automobile reducer assembly. In this paper, the following design aspects are involved.1. Confirming the general design scheme. During this process, some advanced foreign techniques and existing technoloques of our country are taken into account, so that the equipment designed can meet the demand of practical production.2. Accomplishing the design of mechanical parts, mainly involving three parts: the mechanical, the hydraulic and the driving motion group. In order to improve productive efficiency, the reducer press-mounting machine adopts an automatic press-mounting component which can effectively adjust pressure and displacement. The automatic press-mounting component can monitor the press device and adjust work frequency according to the proficiency of the operators so that the productive efficiency can be improved greatly.3. As the most important part of the reducer press-mounting machine, the software part chooses PLC to executive system control. The controlling program can carry out real time control and time sequence control on such output parts as the pump, solenoid valve, servo-actuator and pilot lamp to insure the reliability of the equipment.4. Used the characteristics of Profibus DP, in the realization of PLC, servo drives, touch-screen network communications. Real-time monitoring the servo motor functioning and the press-fit process of the workpiece. And can carry out random checks , greatly improving the quality of press-fit parts.
