In recent years, our country auto industry gets rapid development, automobile production and sales year after year ranked first in the world, with the introduction of technology and independent product development is mature with each passing day, the domestic auto parts industry is springing up vigorously. Based on the analysis of the current automobile instrument production and assembly enterprises production equipment and process on the basis of, for automotive instrument cluster pointer in the pressing is still commonly use manual or pressing mode, cause product quality difficult to control, and slow down the production rhythm, the widely popular PLC as the control core, to develop a strong adaptability, economical, reliable performance, convenient operation, high production efficiency of automobile combined instrument automatic press system.Firstly, introduced the instrument pointer automatic pressure loading system composition and application, as well as the research situation at home and abroad, and discusses the study significance.Secondly, the effects of precision instrument pointer press mounting effect factors were analyzed, and the meter pointer press mounting process precision detection and control were analyzed, especially the accurate pressure detection, pressing gap precision control, the three-dimensional coordinates of the movement control and other aspects of the technology are analyzed.Thirdly, the automobile meter pointer automatic press system hardware design and software design, hardware design including the overall schematic design, system hardware components selection and main function unit implementation.Software design including PLC program design and supporting the touch screen interface design, through the PLC program and a touch screen interface design, can simplify the design of the system, improve system efficiency, enrich the system function.Finally, Introduces in detail the pointer of instrument automatic press system PLC program design content, steps and each function module realization method.
