Park is an important part of the urban green space system and urban public space system, the carrier of the urban historic context, and also the window of people's spiritual life. As a complex organism, the park are experiencing the process of spiral with development, maturity, decline, revival, and then decline, then the process of rehabilitation. With the times changing, City Park are facing difficulties in the fast process of urban renewal, such as:Aging park facilities, Park features cluttered layout, Park behind the times and so on. As a result of the changes of living standard and life method, people are more and more eager to get close to the nature. Urban public parks and other public space are required to be improved. Therefore, how to coordinate the balance between urban park's traditional scenes and needs of modern urban life, and rejuvenated it, has become the main problem that the urban park are facing.China is a mountainous country, mountain city park in China has a large-scale distribution. Chongqing that represented most of the mountainous cities is hillside. The unique topography and climate conditions decide the mountainous city park's special landscape style and pattern.In addition to the above difficulties, the mountain park also face special problems, such as:serious damage of the original mountain landscape and the loss of mountain landscape features in the development process of mountain city park. At present, both of the theory and practice on transformation of city park are insufficient, research on the mountainous park's reform is less. Therefore, the transformation of mountainous city park has important significance.In this context, the paper takes mountainous city park in Chongqing as study object, summarize the difficulties mountainous city park facing and mistakes in the reconstruction process. With the theories in related fields, as urban planning, ecology, mountain urban studies, landscape architecture, behavioral psychology, the author use the "The Organic Renewal " theory in reconstruction of parks in mountainous areas and study on the principles, strategies, steps. We need to respect for the original venue in good resources, historical context, characteristics and culture, the spirit of place; Seek development with protection. According to the special requirements of mountainous park, we will develop rehabilitation programs in various stages on Local conditions. Carry out the basic principles of holistic, participatory, protective, progressive and humanity, we will use more precise language of environmental art to promote renewal and changes of landscape in city park. The aim is to improve urban green space system and urban ecological structure, and provide a new urban public urban open space, then establish a time and historical symbiosis mountainous city park in the harmony of ecological and aesthetic sense. At last, Through the Chongqing Shaping Park transformation design case study, from the Practice angle, we have proven the transformation design strategy which this article proposed.
