As the lorry loading crane is used more and more widespread, its correlative techniques are more and more in-depth studied. 304304 type luffing mechanism is very popular in the lorry loading crane. This luffing mechanism makes the structure of the lorry loading crane more compact and reasonable. Especially, it can reduce the two luffing cylinder load and can send force very speedy. It has the advantage in reducing the weight of whole crane and increasing the stability. In this paper, a virtual prototype model of 304304 type luffing mechanism of the lorry loading crane is built by using ADAMS software, and the simulation of the working course of the luffing mechanism is done.Based on SQ10Z lorry loading crane which is developed by MuDanJiang Special Vehicle Manufacturing Company. The paper mainly completed following contents:(1) The parameter virtual prototype of 304304 type luffing mechanism is estabilished by using ADAMS software. And the kinematics and dynamic simulation is done. The trait of the two luffing cylinder load is known at working course of the 304304 type luffing mechanism.(2) By applying the Design Study of ADAMS, make sure the influencing extent of the coordinates of link point position to the two luffing cylinders load. Find out the coordinates of link point position which making more influencing to the two luffing cylinders load.(3) By applying the Design of Experiments of ADAMS, combining the analyse of kinematics and dynamic, optimize the coordinates of link point position which make the two luffing cylinders load more influencing.The result show that the dynamic performance of the optimize model has greatly improved, so as to optimize design the structure of luffing mechanism provides a effective method.
