Municipal utility vehicle is a kind of large engineering machinery equipment, which is currently widely used in urban garden construction and has a very broad prospect. Although the domestic research on conceptual design and manufacturing of utility vehicle has made some achievements, we are still fallen far behind the advanced utility vehicle products of foreign countries.Based on the subject “modular utility vehicle in road maintenance”, this article designs a lorry loading crane, to achieve the function for the weight of shipment of utility vehicle.Based on the function of lorry loading crane of utility vehicle, the main technical parameters of the lorry loading crane is determined in this paper. By the method of limit state design, lorry loading crane's structure is designed by calculation and analysis. According to the load and load torque of the hydraulic cylinder, each components of hydraulic cylinder are determined. By applying the method of standard homogeneous coordinate change, this paper established the kinematics equation of lorry lording crane. And this paper analyzes the end of the lorry crane position, posture and speed relative to the base coordinate system. Using the vector integral method to solve the Jacobian matrix of lorry loading crane, with speed recurrence formula and the Jacobian matrix analyze the speed and angular velocity relative to the base coordinate system at the end of lorry loading crane.By using the ANSYS, this paper conducted the analysis on stress and strain of hoist boom of the lorry loading crane. Through to the limit condition of stress and strain analysis of hoist boom, validation of hoist boom of the stiffness and strength meet the requirements of lorry loading crane.By using the ADAMS to simulate lorry loading crane's dynamics, this paper is obtained in the process of change of displacement, velocity and acceleration curve of each luffing cylinder of lorry loading crane. According to the standard stability test requirements of lorry loading crane, the paper simulate and analyze the stability of utility vehicles under various working conditions of lorry loading crane. Under various operating conditions it is concluded that the characteristics of the resistive overturning stability and stability coefficient of the utility vehicle.In this paper, by using the ADAMS to analyze and design optimizing the luffing mechanism of lorry loading crane, parametric analysis function to design research, comprehensive experimental design and optimizatio n. By parametric analysis function, this paper based on the design research, analysis of experimental design and optimization. It is comprehensively considerate each variable effect on the stress of the hydraulic oil cylinder on a wide range. It won the best structure design parameters, reduced the stress of the luffing mechanism, improve the overall performance of lorry loading crane.
