The Research Of The Key Technologies Of Metro Car Interior Decoration

With the people's living standard and aesthetic demands increasing, the people's demands for comfort and amenity of the metro vehicles are increasing rapidly. The metro car interior design complied with the ergonomics standards is the basement to enhance the safety and the comfort of the metro car. In addition, in order to enhance metro vehicle design level and strengthen our self-design capability, actively participate in the international competition, it is also imperative that we should enhance the overall level of interior design of metro vehicles.Both of the above factors indicate that we should follow the principles of ergonomics when design the metro car and the metro car must be designed and built based on the analysis of the physical and psychological data of the potential passengers. Only in this way can we truly realize the goal of"human oriented"design and meet the demand of comfort and amenity of the passengers.Firstly,this paper gives a brief review of the history of foreign countries′railway interior decorations,especially the development of metro car interior decoration. Draw lessons from the advanced technologies and experiences of the western counties,the idea that ergonomics principles should be applied to the metro car interior design is proposed. The concept of metro car–ergonomics is brought forward. The methods and principles of how to choose the percentiles are also proposed,including the principle of choosing human body dimension according to the area variety,the principle of extremity,the principle of safety,the principle of adjustablility and the principle of egalitarian.According to the ergonomic principles and the methods of choosing percentiles,the key factors,such as the passenger seats,handrails,the dimensions of the doors,the windows and the layouts of the A type of metro car design are discussed and analysised detailedly.As a result of the analisis, the reasonable dimensions are obtained. Finally,two kinds of layouts of the metro car are provided in which the handrails quantity and location are not the same. Through using the related simulation software,the metro car inner decoration model are built. The dummies are put into the model to test and verify the rationality and the validity of the dimensions and proposals brought about according to the ergonomics standards.Some modifications are made to the dimensions which are not comfortable according to the simulation result. The lighting and color usage in the metro car are also investigated.In the future,the universal design which take care of the disabled should be take into consideration. As a result of the analysis,some dimensions references are obtained for our country's metro car interior decorations.
