The double-fed permanent-magnet generator is one kind of new mix excitation magneto electric machine. There are two sets of windings on its stator, or not windings on the rotor. It has the merit of simple structure, brushless, and does not have the exciter, the power density high and the efficiency higher. This kind of electrical machinery excitation is through adjusts the electrical machinery the control winding electric current to realize. This article has conducted the research to the double-fed permanent-magnet generator voltage regulator; enable the double-fed permanent-magnet generator to have the very good voltage regulation characteristic.This article introduced the double-fed permanent-magnet generator basic structure and the basic principle of work, and have established its mathematical model, in view of its stable state movement when controlled the winding the function to carry on the analysis and the research, and has conducted the experimental study to the generator, confirmed might make the generator terminal voltage maintain invariably through the regulating the size of the control winding short-circuit current.This article according to the generator the mathematical model to propose used the thyristor control the voltage regulator main circuit structure, and through the analytic solution to the voltage regulator two kind of main circuit structure (YO and the A connection), has carried on the overtone analysis and the adjustment characteristic analysis, had pointed out the turning on median line three-phase four YO connection harmonic content, the adjustment characteristic, the triggering control surpassed the three-phase three Y connection.This article has given the simulation model of the generator and the voltage regulator, which were established in MATLAB and have been carried on the simulation analysis. The voltage regulator simulation results have confirmed the analytic solution profile analysis; the generator open-loop control simulation proved through the phase shifting triggering thyristors that has been able to adjust the output voltage of generator; the generator closed-loop control simulation indicated the voltage regulator may cause the output voltage of the generator maintenance to be stable.This article has designed the integrated circuit of the double-fed permanent-magnet generator excitation control device based on the C8051F020 monolithic; this equipment hardware part mainly includes four big modules: The power module, the examination module, the phase shifting pulse the module, the power source module. The part of software including four big modules: System initialization module, sampling A/D module, control computation module, D/A output module.This article introduced briefly the voltage regulator experimental environment and the equipment, have built the double-fed permanent-magnet generator excitation control test platform, and carried on a series of debugging experiments, the experiment examined the generator terminal voltage the frequency, the synchronized signal of the generator controls the winding, the thyristor phase shifting pulse signal, as well as the electrical machinery automatic accent pressed output voltage profile. The experimental results indicated that the voltage regulator can through the thyristor phase shifting trigger pulse signal which controls the winding the exciting current, and makes the power winding output voltage maintenance to be stable.
