| Application of Variable Frequency Technique is a good way to save energy, to enhance efficiency and to protect environment. The dissertation analysed fans and pumps in the thermo power plant which located in Dalian Economic& Technological Development Area (DLETDA). The reconstruction plans of fans and pumps were put forward with variable frequency technique. After analyzing the purpose of reconstruction and provding technical plan,the No.6 fans and No.8 supplying water pumps as well as No.2 recycling water pump were improved according to the technical plan. At last the paper analysed and summed up the effects of reconstruction, especially the economic effects. The conclusions is that the reconstruction plans is an effective way for enterprises from roughly management to saving resources management and gives rise to increasing production and practising economy in the future.
