The Research And Development Of Operation Process System On Port Handling Machinery

The paper deals with the seaport equipment operation process system based on bar code which is used in the operation system in Tangshan seaport. The chief purpose of this system is to realize barcoding management from entrance to output and to make the port cargo handling machinery working information-based. In this way, it can enhance the working efficiency of the port operation.The paper presents study work of the whole developing prcess of the operation process system from requirement analysis, system design, programming, testing, to preoperation. Four modules in the system, into storage, out storage, cargo management, and stock-taking, are designed and analyzed in this paper. There are two parts in the system, the PC management system and the PDA operation system.The paper deals with the background of the system development and the present condition of the operation process system in some relevant enterprises. The equipment dispatching algorithm based on genetic algorithm is studied in this paper. And the operation process of the port handling machinery, the main problems to be solved, the overall situation of the system, the key technology of the system, the demand and the design of the system, and the function modules and the significance of the system are discribed in the paper..The key technology and the main problems to be solved in this paper include:1.It maks the handling machinery being used more efficient that barcode is used to be the cargo mark in the storage and the connected with handling machinery. In the operation process of machinery, barcode is used to be the most important discerning method, which reduces the mistakes in the working process.2. In the system, the PC client and the PDA client both use ADO to develop. And the database of the PC client could transfer data to the existing database system. Otherwise, the equipment dispatching problem is solved by using genetic algorithm, and this work can increase the utilization of the handling machinery in port. 3. The most important part in the port handling machinery operation process system based on barcode is the data collection which is good for informatization management. And the input method using barcode makes the cargo data more precise and real-time. Finally, the system enhances the working efficiency.The paper is helpful to increase the informatization level of seaport operation process in China and strengthen the Competitiveness of the seaport. And it has great guide significance for the operation process informatization of the port pier especially the breakbulk pier.
