Recently, the demand of coal transportation has increased largely because the global demand of coal increases and the resource distribution unbalances in the world. Therefore, it has great significance for the stable development of all over the world to ensure the circulation of the global coal resources in a reasonable,timely way. In addition, it's also the responsibility to all major ports in many energy powers.Operation optimization problems exist in a large number of port logistics system, such as matching problem of the number of different types of port operation devices, container operations scheduling problem of some equipment, the dynamic berth allocation problems, and so on. Among them, reasonable arrangements for bulk cargo, especially coal loading operations, reducing the stay time of ships in ports are very important for improving the competitiveness of our ports.This paper takes Tianjin Port's coal terminal as the research object, and reveals the great significances of developing professional coal terminal, starting from the present status of China's coal industry. Through the introduction of coal loading terminal operating system, the paper puts forward the idea of optimizing the coal loading operations. It also optimizes the loading operations from the coal yard to more than one terminals in Tianjin Port through a kind of evolution strategy model. In addition, this paper puts forward some of the more constructive comments and suggestions from both macro and micro levels.
