With the rapid development of economy and society in Chinese coastal areas, Taizhou accelerating the urbanization process accelerated,at the same time, the area of land occupied by urban infrastructure increased year by year, the arable land will decline every year, and the increasingly strong demand for land day by day. Taizhou Bay has a wealth of beaches, and reclamation project is an effective way to solve this problem from now on. In recent years, to alleviate the land resource scarce problem, large-scale reclamation engineering project has been carried on Taizhou. Thus it changed the water dynamic and sediment condition, beaches will inevitably lead to the evolution of the emergence of new dynamic equilibrium. The evolution research of Taizhou beach is very limited, focusing primarily on the analysis of shoreline changes and the reasons, not combined with the impact of reclamation project specific research, so research in this area becomes very meaningful. This paper first describes the formation mechanism and factors, GIS and sustainable development, focuses on offshore project on the surrounding environment and hydrodynamic model development and application. Then, according to topography, hydrology and sediment data and charts, analyze the evolution of Taizhou Bay beach law from the sediment characteristics, suspended sediment sources, hydrodynamics, coastline and isobath changes. Find that it is main affect by the Yangtze River to reduce sediment, sea level rise, especially in the construction of offshore land reclamation works. And for the coastal reclamation works, Jiaojiang 10 of Taizhou Bay seawall construction project for example, used Delft3D-flow software, simulate the the tidal current field of Taizhou Bay and by comparing with the matched monitoring data, it proved that the result of calculation tallied well with the fact, then analyze the dynamic of the surrounding water. Based on the above, combination of bed erosion and deposition balance principle, to establish sediment transport model. Forecast the balance within one year after the project areas and erosion and deposition of sediment erosion and deposition intensity and distribution. Since the construction of embankment construction, generate different levels of silt in the 1300m in the south east toe. Outside the scope of the impact the project will not affect the basic. Also erosion appeared in the original cape. At last, combined with the actual development situation of Taizhou City Beach, put forward a few proposal.
