Research On The Renewal Design Of Rural Elderly-oriented Under The Background Of Aging

Since the 21 st century,with the rapid progress of urbanization in our country,the aging of the population and the hollowing out of villages have become the main problems that have troubled the development of villages.The massive outflow of population and the miniaturization and childlessness of the current rural family structure have led the elderly have no home.Now,there are few researches on the elderly-oriented renewal design,and the problem of rural aging residence needs to be solved urgently.Firstly,this research combined the physiological,psychological and living habits of the elderly in rural areas,and puts forward the corresponding design principles and methods for elderly-oriented renewal design in the traditional dwellings,public space and facilities,road traffic,landscape environment and other aspects,and gives universal suggestions.At the same time,taking Da Baiyi Village,Jinning District,Kunming City,as the object,this research summarizes the problems of traditional dwellings and public space in Da Baiyi Village,and selects three representative types of traditional dwellings for in-depth investigation and mapping.Based on the diversity of family situations in Da Baiyi Village,each type of dwellings were designed from short and long-term needs.Combined with the experience of the elderly and relevant theories,it respectively carries out the design research of aging-resistant renewal.Finally,it puts forward the way of aging-resistant design under different time and space forms,making the design results more universal,popularized and diversified.At the same time,at the level of public space and facilities,the design on spare public space in villages including space upgrade,environment improvement and function replacement are carried out.The idle resources in villages are fully utilized.The public service facilities with relatively strong functions,such as small medical and health service stations,small garden parks,opera stages,promenades,rest kiosks,transportation corridors and the like,are integrated.The quality of public space is improved,and the elderly have a comfortable environment.This research combines the relevant design theories and the common problems faced by the villages at present,and summarizes the design standards and reference atlas for the elderly in the main functional spaces of traditional dwellings,as well as the design points and strategies of the public space environment,so as to contribute to the current rural renewal work for the elderly.
