The constrcte method like "thousands cities with the same sight" made the traditional village culture is difficult to inheritance, and the dryland in Weibei also facing the same dilemma. The thesis use "Cave" village mainly and "House" village assistant to search the space characteristics and the evolutive rule of the traditional village in Weibei area, and find the method to make the features continue on.Firstly the traditional villages on the Weibei classification of Residence forms were represented in two villages in the analysis, Including Select the location and space form. On this basis, summed up the structural characteristics and houses characteristics and ecological features of traditional village of Weibei. By analysis of the site selection and space evolution of form of the Weibei traditional village,summed up the traditional villages Weibei distribution and evolution of space-level rules, and reveals the impact of the dominant factors Weibei Village Location, and affected villages and the spatial structure of the dominant factors affecting the dominant factor in the village changes.After the analysis and argument, spatial form of the village by the authenticity of the value of evaluation system in order to development corresponding countermeasures of the Weibei traditional village. Seeks to protect and research the value of the protection of traditional villages and seek to protect and extend spatial form of the method, including the establishment, protection and continuity of policy support, economic instruments and planning level methods. Weibei Sanyuan Baishe village is a traditional village which have sunken caves mainly and some by cliff-style caves and narrow courtyard. And sunken caves villages are stander for the culture of Weibei area. Baishe village have more than 200 sunken caves, and those caves all intensive and hanve good protections, made them have high value in research and protection. But few people know those because of the poor traffic. In the end, thesis took Sanyuan Baishe village for example, study how to portect and exploiture the village and continue its spatial characteristics, then put those into effect in spatial form design.
