The Study Of Traditional Villages Space Form Based On Space Syntax In Nanjing

with the rapid development of our social economy and advancement in the new urbanization brought rapid economic development to rural areas, but also brought some impact to the traditional village space form, accelerated the disappearance of the traditional village scene. How to handle the relationship between protection and development of traditional village space form is very important. It determines the future development of the traditional villages and we should solve the problem as soon as possible. At present, the research on the spatial form of the traditional villages are mostly qualitative and static analysis, lacking the quantitative description of the analysis to the common characteristic of village space form. At the same time, the research on the relationship between the village space and social activities is insufficient.This article is an analysis of some traditional villages space foms of Nanjing,taking the method of space syntax and based on the traditional spatial analysis methods. Tries to reveal the syntactic structure characteristics of the traditional village space form, summarizes the common characteristic of the traditional village space form, and proposes the strategies of protection and development traditional village space form based on space syntax. By taking Jiangshan Hejia-Wujia village in Guchen town,Gaochun county,Nanjing as an example,this paper,in terms of Space Syntax, scientifically and rationally analyzes the problems of protecting and developing the space form. And try to propose measures to protect the traditional village space form and to continue the social and historical context based on the above research results. There are some main parts in this paper:First of all,this paper mainly elaborates the researches about the traditional space form in domestic and foreign,advances the main content and methods of this research,defines the concepts and the reseach scope. The thesis describes the space syntax theory and related concepts,outing thtee types of spatial configuration methods and the application of space syntax in the traditional village space form.Then, analyzes the spatial characteristics of traditional villages in Nanjing scientifically and rationally by taking the method of space syntax. Analysis these traditional villages space form quantitatively with the computer software--Depth, and visually presents the results by drawings. Through comparative analysis of several traditional villages spatial configuration,and excavate the general characteristics of traditional villages,and summarize strategies of protection and development traditional village space form based on space syntax.Finally, the research results are applied to the study of the space form protection and development of Jiangshan Hejia-Wujia village in Guchen town,Gaochun county,Nanjing. Based on the investigation and the syntactic analysis of Hejia-Wujia village,we try to propose specific optimization measures according to the above research summary of the strategy to protection and development traditional village space form. All above can verify the feasibility of the strategies to the protection and development of traditional village space form further.
