Along with the development of wind power generation, more and more power is needed by high-power electric power electronics devices. Therefore, it is important to research a distributed DSP(Digital Signal Processing)-based power quality monitoring system of the wind power field for ensuring the wind power quality, and safe and economical operation of power systems.Firstly, the development of wind power and the present situation of electric power quality monitoring in and abroad are analyzed, then the national standards of the power quality are briefly analyzed and researched.Secondly, the appropriate algorithm is chosen after researching and comparing different algorithms of the power quality parameters. And according to it, the system plan of the wind power quality monitoring based on DSP+RS485+ PC is designed, also with the power quality assessment methods and the practical need of project.Thirdly, the hardware system is designed based on the system plan, which uses the TMS320F2812 as CPU. A platform of embedded system is also built, the software design of DSP is completed under the environment of CCS3.1 and a friendly human-machine interface application software is designed with VC++.Finally, the system is debugged. The robust algorithm of the autocorrelation function for calculating the frequency is simulated and compared in Matlab, and actually measured and compared with the system, through which some important parameters are calibrated.The design of the wind power quality monitoring system based on DSP is completed, which achieved the purpose by programming, debugging and download. This system can not only timely monitor the wind power quality indices, but also has the function of power-down protection, alarm, communication, preservation and display. It can prompt sampling values of the voltage and current for the high-power converter in wind turbine, meanwhile communicate with PC, transmit the power quality parameters and provide the basis for the dynamic monitoring and diagnosis. This system has a practical application value.
