Along with the social economy development,our country urbanization advancement is unceasingly speeding up,and it has expanded to form some agglomerations;so that the link between the main urban zone and the satellite towns in metrpolis have become more frequent,traffic demand is increasing,and as the people's living change from the well-off to all-round well-off,The demand for travel comfortment,convenience, vehicle speed and punctuality are higher.Transportation travel demand also show diverse characteristics while transport travel quality is demanding.Therefore,the traditional single model of a car-based transport can no longer meet the requirements of urban development.Mass rapid transit of suburban traffic has become an indispensable level in megacities,it plays a very important guiding role in driving new town,satellite towns,as well as the development of downtown.A reasonable traffic mode between the main urban zone and satellite towns not just meets the traffic demand,but can strengthen the external radiation function of the main urban zone and give full play to satellite towns'function,which is a guarantee of the sustainable growth of region social, economy and social environment.On the basis of investigating traffic problems in the process of the satellite towns'development and construction,referring to successful experience of the choice of the traffic modes at home and abroad,the article,oriented on system engineering,adopts both theory with practice,qualitative and quantitative methods,shows the necessities of the construction of suburban traffic based on TOD.In accordance with characteristics of suburban traffic and factors that influence the choices of traffic modes between the main urban zone and satellite towns,on principles of the choices of assessment indexes.The assessment indexes of the choice of traffic modes between the main urban zone and satellite towns are established initially;a comprehensive evaluation model which obtain weight based on Fuzzy AHP and a optimum scheme through gray correlated degree method is created.Finally,the article analyzes Chongqing as an example,and carries out feasibility analysis of the selection results;obtaining a good validation effect.
