This article outlines the basic concepts and research situation of the steel - concrete composite structure,and outlines the types and characteristics of shear connectors commonly of steel - concrete composite.On the basis of common PBL shear connectors, an improved PBL shear connector is proposed. PBL shear connectors as well as improved PBL shear connectors, and saddle-shaped shear connectors were studied, a total of 3 categories nine specimens. Through testing research and theoretical analysis, the mechanical properties of improved PBL shear connectors are demonstrated ,and preliminary design and calculation theory are established . In this paper,the main content are as follows:â‘ on the basis of common PBL shear connectors, an improved PBL shear connector is proposed. This passage is to investigate its construction principles and transfer mechanisms.â‘¡Through testing research, 3 categories shear connectors are analyzed. The content of analysis are their force performance, load - slip curve of the law, shear stiffness and failure mode and so on. Finally, they are compared each other .â‘¢The finite element model of improved PBL shear connector has been built,and according to test results in which parameters were modified,than finite element model agree well with the experimental results. On this basis,the expansion parameters of single-factor with the different strength of concrete, through the stirrup diameter, steel plate hole size and spacing of openings under the improved PBL shear keys are analyzed.And various factors on the improved PBL shear connector force performance are researched.â‘£Through experimental study and theoretical analysis, the calculation for the yield bearing capacity under shear load and the ultimate bearing capacity of improved PBL shear connector are put forward.
