Numerous documents related to Dynamics of Gantry crane have been issued, however, the Dynamic response of gantry main structure coupled with flexible suspension structure was not well solved. Especially in the case of lifting load and crab travel braking, the Dynamic behavior of hoisting ropes system as well as its influence on the main structure should be studied deeply. And this work would be well contributede to the crane design currently.Based on the theory of Dynamics,numerical method and FEM, by means of vibration system analysis approach and FEM sofeware, the thesis has overall studied on the Dynamic behavior of spension structure and its influence on the main structure via one typical Gantry container crane refer to previous documents,The main content include:(1) The thesis indicates the benefits and limitations of less DOF vibration model analysis method,FEM and Virtual Prototype Technology in the field of crane Dynamics, the appropriate approach is uniting these methods.(2) As a focus problem of crane Dynamics, the lifing dynamic response has been analysed in the thesis, a new two DOF viberatin model was builted. The thesis also spacified the solving process on this mathematical model. Using JMQ3543 gantry container crane, the thesis verified this process and obtain some conclusion.(3) A less DOF viberatin model regard to load swing has been builted. the thesis analyed the Dynamic response when crane crab was braking, and indicated the influence caused by this process on main structure in horizontal direction.(4) In the enviroment of ANSYS software, the thesis builted the overall FE model especially the flexible suspension structure included. Some special notable problems in modeling were demonstrated, for verifing this FE model,Statics solving was carried on(5) Based on the gantry crane FE model, the thesis make the modal and transient analysis of the crane structure.included the case of lifting load and crab travel braking. The thesis also demonstrated. Some special notable problems, the disadvantage of using FEM software as well as its solving approach. Some conclusion were obtained.
