| The development of cranes faces towards macro-scale operations technology, speedup, automation and intelligence. Men asking for cranes capability are more and more exigent. People are desired the crane not only has a light weight, strong stiffness, big working space, but also has a high speed of the dolly and the cart, high operating efficiency. So it must advance the dynamics of the crane. Because of the crane being bigger and the dolly and the cart being speeding faster, it will bring great effect to the dynamic characteristics of the crane, and on the contrary the dynamic characteristics of the crane also will bring effect to operating efficiency. It is an inconsistent phenomenon, and it will be more outstanding with the societal development. Now crane dynamics has been a hotspot of enterprises and colleges and universities.Then, how do we meet the dynamics trait in design? Or how do we improve the trait of the old crane? What is it sensitive to?In this paper I analyze the orbited container gantry crane. The crane is reinforced for several times and its intensity being strengthened. But the crane only meets the basic production. When the dolly or the cart runs, the crane shakes relatively fearful in the level direction and its horizontal stiffness is insufficient. The crane often breaks off for repairing, so it affects normal production. Its production efficiency is low and it adds the maintenance cost. So we must analyze the crane, and make it be normal.The professors of Shanghai testing laboratory have an integrated test. This paper relates with some new dynamics modification theory. I analyses fundamental frequency, modality and horizontal stiffness. Then I emulate the crane with ANSYS software. ANSYS has a strong calculate and post processing capability and can emulate crane practical work. It is convenient to optimize crane dynamics characteristic by partly modifying the crane structure. I t makes dynamics and work efficiency be in an optimum state.By ANSYS software emulating it may save manpower and material resources and have relatively simulation precision. It is very helpful to advance the cranestructure dynamics design level in engineering. It makes the crane structure more reasonable and meets demand of social development. |
