High Voltage Switchgear is important equipment in transmission and distribution system, which plays an important role in electricity, such as Closing and breaking power line, line fault protection, monitoring data and so on. monitoring temperature of isolation-contact of high voltage switchgear has been one of the major issues of the safe operation of power industry. According to the study and application of principles of Fiber Bragg Grating Temperature Measurement, We designed a temperature-line monitoring system for high voltage switchboard based on fiber grating sensor. The paper describes the overall on-site design of the system, system development and the realized function, the on-site installation and specific applications are Introduced, and finally through the practical application in the works, we prove the feasibility and value of the temperature of the system in-line monitoring.
