Optimizing the allocation of distribution network resources and improving the resources utilization efficiency is fundamental measure to benefit power supply company, but there is no means to analysis the quantification of this. An efficiency assessment system of distribution network based on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is designed and developed. The system includes two main modules: one is DEA assessment module. In this module, DEA models are set up from the input-output view, which are used to finish the calculation and assessment of technique and scale efficiency of distribution utilization, obtain the utilization efficiency and redundancy of distribution lines. The other module is knowledge base module, which is based on assessment result of DEA combined with monitoring information such as voltage qualification rate, line load, capacity-load ratio, etc. to get improving measure of distribution line through reasoning analysis. An application case shows that the system has the advantages of the quantitive analysis of science tool and the qualitative knowledge from experiences and standards, and there is a potential application prospect.
