Study On The Water Resources And Water Environment Carrying Capacity In The City Of Baotou

The water resources per person holds in Baotou only the 17% of national average amount,so Baotou is one of the cities which seriously lacks water of the nation.Recently,along with the development of Baotou'economic and society,on one hand, the demand of water resource increased,on the other hand,the wastewater from production and living has polluted the water environment, bring the aggravation of the city water resources. It takes the primary water supply source of Baotou city: Baotou section of the Yellow River,surface water and underground water as an example, combining with the Eleventh Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development,to make a systematic analysis, prediction and evaluation on the carrying capacity of water resources and water environment to the development of Baotou'economic and society on the basis of the data now available.The paper also points out the existing problems and then puts forward some corresponding countermeasures to provide the science reference for the developing of Baotou'economic and society.
