Research On Evaluation Of Planning Scheme Of Railway Junction Terminal And System Development

Railway Junction Terminal have important effects on the development of the whole railway system for their special role. The rationality of plan and layout of Railway Junction Terminal significantly affects the rationality of plan and layout of the whole railway system. Based on the definition and classification of the Railway Junction Terminal in the country, this paper performs a study on the factors in comprehensive evaluation of Railway Junction Terminal. Then, the paper establishes a criterion system for the evaluation of railway hub layout schemes, and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for railway hub layout scheme comprehensive evaluation, based on which the decision assistant system for Railway Junction Terminal layout scheme comprehensive evaluation is built. Finally, a case analysis is performed with respect to the Tianjin railway hub layout scheme in 2004.The study mainly includes the following aspects.Classification of the Railway Junction Terminal based on main tasks of the hub, the role and effect of the hub in the railway system, the amount of operations the hub undertakes, the geometric layout of the hub. The paper proposes new characteristics of the railway hub layout in the country, with respect to the railway system's current status.Establishment of a criterion system for the evaluation of railway hub layout schemes, including criteria of six perspectives:scale and capacity, internal benefits, traffic functions, social benefits, economic benefits and environmental benefits. The paper divides the criteria into macro and micro categories, and utilizes them for evaluation purposes on different levels.Establishment of a comprehensive evaluation method for railway hub layout schemes, which is based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The paper designs and builds an assistant system for railway hub evaluation, implementing the method mentioned above. The case analysis of the Tianjin example indicates the validity and effectiveness of the method in the paper.
