Yuyin Garden in Panyu, Keyuan Garden in Dongguan,Qinghui Garden and Liangyuan Garden in Foshan are known as the Four Famous Gardens in Lingnan.On the aspect of the spatial layout, spatial organization, the water stone application and flowers configuration, with its own graceful and variegated features, the Four Famous Gardens in Lingnan formed a style of elegant and brigh, unlike the magnificent of north garden, and the slender of the Jiangnan garden.Based on the factors of times, history, human and culture. This thesis made the spatial layout of the Four Famous Gardens in Lingnan as the entry point. It first dig out the expression of aesthetic sense, which also followed the law of yin and yang, circulation, the harmony of the confucianism, the empty and calm mind of Zen and so on.Then it analysised the space layout and skill of the Four Famous Gardens, such as the enclosed space, permeate, the view borrowing and view in opposite place, the combination of time and space and so on. Which reflected the unique charm of the spatial layout and aesthetic orientation of the Four Famous Gardens in Lingnan. It made the ecological aesthetic practice of gardens rise to the theory. And it analysised on linking to the current ecological Environment for Human Settlemen of Guangdong, in order to make demonstrations and guidance to the livable environment of Lingnan region for future.
