Research On The Visual Identity System In Hi-tech Industrial Development Zones Of Cities

With the boom of high-tech and the ever increasingly urbanization pace, a large number of new industrial parks emerge increasingly around the cities, and hi-tech industrial development zones arise accordingly. However, when simply focusing on the developing of hi-tech industries, the instruction of visual identity in hi-tech industrial development zones is ignored. Even as a comparatively independent new community, the hi-tech industrial development zone is still an important component of the city. Nevertheless, the hi-tech industrial development zones in most cities lack the bright regional culture characters, which are broken away from the entire city image system, and even form the visual image opposite to the city image.With the design of the visual identity system in city hi-tech industrial development zones as the research object and the case in Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zone as the example, through field research and the analysis on the present situations in home and abroad, the paper ponders on the development direction of the visual identity system in Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zone, explores the modern visual identity design with the features of Xi'an, and equips the common hi-tech industrial developmen zone with the ancient characters, which unfolds the unique traditional regional culture characters of Xi'an, as well as the senses of science and technology sense and modern fashion, and reaches the aim to both carry on city culture deposits and strengthen visual identity effectiveness,The paper also strives to provide feasible theoretical basis for the visual identity system in city hi-tech industrial development zones in the future.The paper comprises five chapters:the first chapter is the introduction, which generally describes the raising of the question, and research background and significance and methods; the second chapter systematically expatiates the basic theory of the visual identify system via introducing the conception, components and the substantial characters of the visual identity system; the third chapter states the conception, formation and development of the city hi-tech industrial development zones, selectively analyzes the application status of visual identity system to Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zones, and points out the existing problems; the forth chapter puts forwards the design principles that the visual identity system of Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zones should follows and some advises on the basis of the theoretical analysis of the previous three chapters, and reasonably designs the visual identity components in Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zones so as to build a visual identity system that highlights the city features of Xi'an more clearly and more perfectly; and the fifth chapter is the conclusion, which, based on the research results of the former chapters, indicates the innovation of the thesis and looks forwards to the future trends of the design of the visual identity system in Xi'an hi-tech industrial development zones.
