The three-ring internal gear reducer(TRIGR) in this article is a new type transmission which have been developed on the basis of involute few teeth difference (FTD) planetary transmission. Comparing with the three-ring gear reducer(TRGR), due to its many advantages such as dynamic balancing of the transmission mechanism, the study on TRIGR will attract wider and wider attention.In this study, the research status and the development tendency were review. The theory of TRIGR and the characteristics of every simulation software were introduced. Used of Solidworks CAD software to model on the reducer. The models were introduced into analysis of Adams and Ansys Workbench. This article studies in the following aspects: 1) Using CAD software to create a three-dimensional model reducer laid the foundation for further analysis. 2)The kinematic analysis was made by , Adams, the model dynamics software. To understand some characteristics such as the motion characteristics of the model, the transmission efficiency, and the force of the gear. 3)The average stress and the deformation were studied through the used of, Ansys Workbench, the finite element analysis software. The model's modal parameters of the top ten were calculated. All of this established the foundation for further study of machine vibration and fatigue.The data and conclusions which have been gained during the CAD model and simulation analysis could deepen the understanding of the three-internal ring reducer, and have some reference value for producing and manufacturing the physical model. Next step of work, is Optimizing the structure of the model based on the obtained Model parameters, and make the model more simplify , the performance more reliable. To make the Three-internal ring Gear Reducer serve the community better.
