The industrial architecture is an architecture type introduced to Shanxi along with the westernization movement. Compared with other types, the industrial architecture is introduced relatively late. The research of Shanxi's industrial architecture in modern times will reveal the process of how new types and new culture of architecture develop, and also will advance the research of Shanxi's construction localization in modern time.This article gives exhaustive research and analysis to these industrial architecture's time background, policy foundation, geographic distribution, development survey and the art of architecture. And according to the research and analysis, this article also reveal the evolution process of Shanxi's industrial architecture in modern times.
