Suzhou classical gardens are important part and outstanding representative of the Chinese classical gardens. They have plenty of characters of plant scenes,various landscaping forms,especially abundant humanistic contents and ample theme symbols. And as one of the historic and cultural achievement of Chinese history,the classical gardens plant landscape show theirs strong historical spirit and national characters. So they are worth being studied and learned form.There are five chapters in this paper. Select the first chapter of the classical gardens of Suzhou city area targets for the investigation, through the collation and analysis of literature, sets out the scenery spots named by plant and described the ecological significance of plant arrangement of Suzhou classical gardens. Based on-the-spot investigation, the second chapter describes the current plant arrangement situation of these scenery spots and summaries the culture basis on plant arrangement of Suzhou classical gardens from Classical Chinese Poetry, Celebrity Elegance and Zen koan three aspects. Focusing on contrast the subject by the plant, revealing one's aspirations expressed by the plant, to make the frame scenery picture and wall background by the plant, three-dimensional images three aspects, the third chapter explains the purpose of plant arrangement of Suzhou Classical gardens. The forth chapter sets forth the cause of plant culture image from Occurrence theory, in terms of nature worship, vitality worship, symbolic thinking feature three areas to elaborate. The fifth chapter represents the image of plant sublimation from the standpoint of the being compared to the morals and the relationship between literati three aspects.
