Research On The Application Of Bamboo Culture In The Classical Gardens Of Suzhou

The bamboo culture has influenced the Chinese people’s material life and spiritual life,and also has a profound impact on the development of landscape art in china at the same time.But the recent landscape design mostly focus on the beauty of form, while ignoring the garden culture pursuit, this phenomenon should cause our reflection. The significance of research on bamboo culture is very important for the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional culture and the promotion of landscape culture connotation. In this context, this article attempts to research on the application of bamboo culture in The classical gardens of Suzhou. The purpose is deepen our cognition of bamboo culture, and promote the spread and popularization of bamboo culture.The article summarized the system of China bamboo culture, studied the classical poetry based on the analysis of the China’s bamboo resources, summed up the spiritual connotation of bamboo with“upright,faithful,modest,elegant”.And then analysised the influence of ancient bamboo culture in material and spiritual aspects of people’s lives.The article combined with the characteristics of Suzhou area, interprets the formation and development process of Suzhou classical garden bamboo landscape.Through field investigation,analyzed ornamental bamboo in the existing Suzhou classical garden. On this basis, the article discusses bamboo landscaping and configuration in the classical gardens of Suzhou. Combined with the results of the questionnaire survey, the article points out the problems about bamboo culture application in the classical gardens of Suzhou. Such as environmental pollution, over exploitation and lack of facilities.Through further research to solve these problems, put forward the significance, objectives, factors and principles of bamboo culture landscape improvement in the classical gardens of Suzhou. Finally, through raising thenm, using carrier, controlling excessive development and governing environment to promot the bamboo culture in gardens.
