In this paper, a model of the micro-car front suspension McPherson independent suspension for the study, for some wear serious problem reflected by customers of car front wheel, ADAMS virtual prototyping software for the application platform, combined with the vehicle simulation analysis. From the process of developing new type of car, from the angle of suspension system selection of configuration and optimization of its structure, equipped with optimized McPherson suspension of the micro-car for vehicle simulation analysis, and verified the micro-car of improved handling and stability, in order to achieve the purpose of improving selection and developing new products, and solve better the tire wear problem.Firstly, the paper introduced the research significance of the project and related projects situation of research and development situation at home and abroad, and summarized the general concept of this research project and the main content. Next, briefly introduced the related theories of ADAMS, virtual prototyping representative software, and the main modules used in the paper. Then in the ADAMS/Car environment, established McPherson front suspension subsystem as well as other subsystems needed by complete vehicle simulation analysis. The third chapter studied in detail, the effect of the wheel alignment parameters which was from the McPherson suspension motion characteristics, resulting in abnormal wear of wheel. Then studied the front tire wear factors from the geometry and evaluating indicator. Finally, studied front wheel alignment parameters on tire wear from the angle of kinematics. The next focus of study was McPherson suspension system assembly simulation and optimization design of its structure parameters. The idea was from the angle of front wheel tire wear unusually, selective analyzed the relationship between front wheel alignment parameter and the front wheel tire wear, and McPherson independent suspension system was optimized. General guiding principle of this process was the nine key points of McPherson independent suspension system for the design variables, the positional parameters of front wheel for the objective function. Then, using ADAMS software processing modules Post-Processor and Insight, analyzed and optimized wheel alignment parameters of McPherson suspension system assembly, to improve performance of the type of suspension system. In the last, reviewed the optimized McPherson suspension system promoted the vehicle's handling and stability or not. By McPherson independent suspension systems and vehicle dynamics simulation, the paper has gotten the optimal selection of programs of micro-car suspension system successfully. Effectively reduced the car's development cycle, greatly reduced the cost of developing new products. It is significant to improve product's design and manufacturing quality.
